Kays Nottingham Lockdown Portraits

We’ve all been stuck at home for some time now, and while some of us might be enjoying the extra time to ourselves, others are struggling more than usual being at home all day, sometimes alone, with few distractions and a lot happening in the world to worry about.

Kay documented peoples time in lockdown with a doorstep photograph, asking for a £10 donation, to help support Nottinghamshire Mind by doing this she has managed to raise £280.00.

Ramsoc’s Virtual Pennine Way Walk

Ramsoc the University of Nottingham’s Rambling and Hillwalking Club, decide to challenge themselves to collectively hike the length of the Pennine Way – 268 miles during Lockdown.
They raised £172.50 for us.

‘We thought we’d raise some money for a good cause while we’re at it, because why not! We’ve decided to raise money for the Nottinghamshire branch of Mind, one of the UK’s leading mental health charities. Mental well being is very important to us as individuals and as a society, and the support that Mind provides and campaigns for is needed now more than ever.’

Walking For Charity

Steve’s birthday was on Thursday 21st May. On Saturday 23/5/2020 he aimed to walk 20 miles to raise money for Nottinghamshire Mind. Instead of a card he asked for people to donate to us. By doing this he raised £830.00

100 Miles in a Week

Jody challenged herself to walk 100 mile in just 7 days to help raise money for Nottinghamshire Mind. She raised £279.00 along with getting plenty of exercise.

There is a lot of strain on the NHS right now, so charities like this that can support them are exactly what we all need.
